Essence of time, Spirit of place
Heritage Days
Not only is the city celebrating the 25 th anniversary of its becoming a UNESCO World Heritage site, but also its designation by ISESCO as Capital of Islamic Culture for 2007. It’s for this reason that the Heritage Days have been introduced this year so that we can rediscover some of the monuments of the city
There are two easy routes, full of the delights of the city
:
- the Palaces and Riads circuit takes you from Dar Tazi to the Mokri Palace , and includes Ba Mohamed and the Mokri school
- the Learning circuit leads from the Attarine Medersa to the Moulay Driss high school, ending at the Bouanania Medersa.
